Set global upload and download limits that doesn’t use the whole bandwidth of your device or router.

If you don’t have rj45 connection and experience problems with internet despite upload limits, lower max. number of connections, upload slots and switch protocol to TCP only. If it still doesn’t help, then you have proven that wi-fi isn’t as good as the companies try to sell it to you. Connect your device over ethernet for better connection and bandwidth.

ISP blocking and lobbying

Most ISPs don’t care. Some will block torrenting, you should contact them if you’re sure it happens. You can check laws in each country that try restrict file sharing. You shouldn’t stop even if you receive e-mails threatening you if you never experienced an ISP cancelling you, because 99% of the time they’re just trying to scare you. If you experienced censorship from your ISP, you can try torrenting through a reputable VPN.

There are many greedy companies that try to make peer to peer file sharing illegal in general. They are the reason why we are torrenting in the first place, otherwise there would be no need for 20 different streaming services, it would be all on youtube, lbry, rumble, dailymotion, etc. There are streaming sites with free movies but it’s not very reliable. Notice how many domain aliases some of these sites have.

They also play with morality, but they are liars. If you are religious, no religion prohibits you in any way from ignoring copyright. Copyright is a fairly modern invention.

But these billionaires on the other hand… Yeah, for sure they are very moral.

Hypocrisy

Mark Zuckerberg is a 100x pirate, his company Meta downloaded more books than you probably ever will. Millions of books. They did it for LLaMA AI model. So you see, they support it only when they benefit.
