Fashion affects you even if you don't care

You usually don’t have as much to say in what you wear as you would think, if you don’t have a lot of money. I had this thought when i saw how standardized some mass produced clothes can be. You need some money to really have a choice. Online shopping is your friend. although keep in mind that still, you can buy something and it doesn’t fit as you expect. One manufacturer makes your pants cover 70% calf, other makes them to ankle. One t-shirt is wide and too short, other is completely different. Sleeves in one hoodie are tight but loose in other.

In order to not have a big ass brand logo, sometimes you end up paying a bit more. Is this your choice or is this just how they sell most stuff so that NPCs don’t feel “basic” with solid colors? If anything, i want a print that has some meaning.

Mostly wealthy people can say “no” or “stop” to something new for example. Obviously still you have plenty choice, and you’re more limited more by ideas and knowledge. I don’t mean rich people control all fashion, but rather that you as a normie can often have a hard time to be anti-fashion, if there is such thing. You may still follow it unknowingly. You can’t go too far out of some presets.

You can feel like NPC.

Of course you shouldn’t base your personality on buying things, if you do it, you are the very definition of NPC.
