The not so "free" way of living

Even if you don't have to wake up early or at similar times every day, you still should.

... And also you should dress nice and clean, so other people literally ask you if you're going out somewhere even if you initially didn't plan to or it's just a walk. For me it helped a lot to make use of bigger chunks of time without turning into a "discord mod", at a few short times that i didn't have to go out of home every day, you know lockdowns and holocough, summer, applying for jobs.

I didn't do a peer-reviewed study on how many people can relate to that, but i am convinced based on my experiences that there are millions or possibly billions of people that in some way relate to that, but maybe not as extreme. But also many think that it's normal, because i also know people that don't like spending time in nature without getting mental health issues, which to me is like dry water, you can say it but it doesn't exist.

I always thought that it would be awesome to have a flexible work times and not having to wake up early, but it's very wrong. Working from home is awesome but can be terrible if you use it to be a lazy discord mod that only wears top clothes and gets a haircut for camera lol. And we all know there are many people like that and see nothing wrong in it.

Remember that time in school years when someone asked you what day of week it is during summer? If you didn't know the answer then you probably didn't have anything to create a timeline in mind. With that mindset every day is like any other and you don't even remember how quickly 2 months passed, and how little you achieved. 2 moths of playing games and lying in bed basically. If you wake up early and don't do anything just because you don't have to, can easily create a cycle of wasting time and gaming or cooming, depending on what you prefer.

Wagies sleeping off work

I also find it crazy that there are people who wake up later on weekends then on their work week. Most of these people don't sleep enough on work week and rest more on weekend. In standard 40 hours work week you really have time to sleep 8 hours per day and do nice stuff on weekend instead of being a slave that uses weekend to sleep off.

Humans are built in a way that you just need to have a daily routine.

And i don't feel better than others, i did many mistakes but i correct my mistakes instead of getting emotional about it. I don't attack anyone that lives like this, this is just my opinion.

Anti-work arguments

No, 40 hour week is not bad. Productivity is important and GOOD. Your fake cubicle unfillfilling job is the issue.

If you're smart enough to run/start a business you will choose to be on time and have a good schedule.

BTW not many people say why exactly prices of living are going up. A whole book could be written on that.
